And when it was determined that we should sail into Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners unto one named Julius, a centurion of Augustus' band.

And entering into a ship of Adramyttium, we launched, meaning to sail by the coasts of Asia; one Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.

And the next day we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously entreated Paul, and gave him liberty to go unto his friends to refresh himself.

And when we had launched from thence, we sailed under Cyprus, because the winds were contrary.

And when we had sailed over the sea of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra, a city of Lycia.

And there the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing into Italy; and he put us therein.

And when we had sailed slowly many days, and scarce were come over against Cnidus, the wind not suffering us, we sailed under Crete, over against Salmone;

And, hardly passing it, came unto a place which is called The fair havens; nigh whereunto was the city of Lasea.

Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished them,

And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.

Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.

And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, and there to winter; which is an haven of Crete, and lieth toward the south west and north west.

And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, loosing thence, they sailed close by Crete.

But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon.

And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let her drive.

And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat:

Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and, fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, strake sail, and so were driven.

And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship;

And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.

And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.

But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.

And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship.

For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,

Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.

But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country;

And sounded, and found it twenty fathoms: and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found it fifteen fathoms.

Then fearing lest we should have fallen upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.

And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,

Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.

Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.

And while the day was coming on, Paul besought them all to take meat, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried and continued fasting, having taken nothing.

Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.

And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all: and when he had broken it, he began to eat.

Then were they all of good cheer, and they also took some meat.

And we were in all in the ship two hundred threescore and sixteen souls.

And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast out the wheat into the sea.

And when it was day, they knew not the land: but they discovered a certain creek with a shore, into the which they were minded, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.

And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed themselves unto the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoised up the mainsail to the wind, and made toward shore.

And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.

And the soldiers' counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out, and escape.

But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from their purpose; and commanded that they which could swim should cast themselves first into the sea, and get to land:

And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.

　　保罗往罗马的旅程　

　　徒 27:1-3> 冷酷如犹流，通过接触，看保罗也与前不同；你知道别人如何看你？　

　　27:1-3　犹流是一个冷酷的罗马百夫长，被委派看守保罗，显然他时常都与保罗有紧密的接触。通过这些接触，犹流渐渐尊重保罗，并给他某种程度的自由（ 27:3 ），后来更挽救保罗的性命（ 27:43 ）。从亲密和个别的接触，别人会怎样评价你的品格呢？　

　　徒 27:9> 原来在古代航行是很危险的……　

　　27:9　这个禁食的节期是赎罪节。古时航海的船没有罗盘，只靠星象来导航，因此在乌云密布的天气航行，是极其危险的。这件事情应该发生在十月（公元 59 年）。　

　　徒 27:12> 此地潜伏着危险？船长因何这样心急要离开？　

　　27:12　虽然这不是最适宜航行的时间，但船长和船主都不希望在那里过冬，因此船长就冒险航行。起初风平浪静，天气也不错，但后来却刮起狂风。　

　　徒 27:21> 保罗真自大，竟在嘲弄人，你说他何有理由这样说？　

　　27:21　保罗为什么这样对众人说话呢？他不是嘲弄他们说：“我早已告诉你们啦。”他是要提醒他们，在神的引导下，他早已预言过有这次麻烦（ 27:10 ）。后来，他们都听了他的话（ 27:30-32 ），他们的性命都因而获救。　

　　27:42-43　任何一个囚犯逃走了，水手都是要偿命的，所以他们的自然反应便是将囚犯杀了，免得他们逃走。百夫长深被保罗所感动，要救他。他这次行动保住了保罗的性命，使之日后可以在罗马传道，也成就了保罗的预言──船上每一个人都要获救，没有一个丧命的（ 27:22 ）。──《灵修版圣经注释》　

使徒行传第廿七章　　航程中的恩典（二十七 1 ～ 13 ）　

　　在往罗马的行程中，神给保罗格外的恩典：　

　　1. 他有路加与亚里达古同行：路加是医生，在此漫长的航程中，可以协助照顾保罗的健康。亚里达古是帖撒罗尼迦人，是自愿与保罗同行及服事保罗的。帖撒罗尼迦教会深得保罗的赞赏，在此显出保罗今回不是单独面对挑战，而是有亲爱的弟兄、甚至教会的支持。有些释经家提出路加及亚里达古是以保罗的奴仆身分随行，沿途服事保罗，故此身分与其他的囚犯不一样。　

　　2. 他得到百夫长的善待：百夫长是御营中人，主要负责罗马及各地之间消息的传达。他率领士兵，押解保罗及其他囚犯前赴罗马，由于保罗是未被定罪的罗马公民，并且有奴仆照顾，所以得到百夫长的宽待，可自由上岸往朋友处去。　

　　3. 他得知航程的前路：或许是基于保罗的经验，或许他有神特别的启示，他知道航程满有危险，故此劝告百夫长暂时不要启航。事后证明他的看法是对的，使他在行程中极受尊重。　

　　我们是否记得“大使命”的应许？当我们肯为主作见证时，主就常与我们同在。主的同在一方面给我们能力，可以大胆地作见证；另一方面主又保守我们安然经过一切的苦难，并且叫我们享受神格外丰盛的恩典。我们愿意去经历吗？　

　　祈祷　神啊，感谢，因有说不尽的恩典。　

　　罗马之旅（二十七 14 ～ 44 ）　

　　．海上遇到风暴（ 14 ～ 20 ）：路加以生动的文笔，描写了船在狂风巨浪下的危险情景。致命的因素十分多：任风而刮失却方向、沉船、搁浅等等。他们亦尽力保存生命，包括挽回小船作沉船后救生之用、落下篷来避免搁浅、抛弃货物及船上器具减轻负担，然而所有可以作的都作了之后，仍然敌不过大自然的威力，结果仍要束手待毙。今天可以夺取我们生命的因素数之不尽，然而我们却凭神的恩典而存活。神是我们真正的磐石。　

　　．保罗安慰众人（ 21 ～ 26 ）：在众人绝望之时，惟独保罗不受动摇。他得到神的启示，知道神会保守众人得平安，故此在危难之时，站起来向众人讲出安慰的信息。这是因为保罗多次经历苦难，并且多次蒙恩，故此在大自然力量的威胁之下，仍能满有信心地倚靠神。　

　　．众人听从保罗（ 27 ～ 38 ）：此时保罗已赢得百夫长的信任，成为众人逃生的倚靠。他的意见虽然只是普通常识，但在恐慌之下只有他能镇静应付。他帮助维持船上秩序、勉励众人吃饭保存力气，并且重申神的拯救，结果百夫长在他的吩咐下，保持众人的秩序及气力，预备逃生之用。　

　　．众人得蒙拯救（ 39 ～ 44 ）：当船搁浅之时，百夫长不许兵丁杀死囚犯，包括保罗，结果全船二百七十六个人安然得救。相信没有保罗安定军心，众人就是有机会逃生，亦会有自相践踏而死的事发生。现在众人有秩序地登岸，印证了神的应许。神的拯救也透过人来施行：百夫长指挥水手先游水上岸，其他的人扶木板浮上岸。　

　　祈祷　有人靠车，有人靠马，但我要提到耶和华神的名。──《新旧约辅读》

使徒行传第二十七章

27：1 保罗押赴罗马，同行者有：路加（27：1“我们”；参21：19注）、亚里达古（27：2；参19：29注）。从保罗被捕（21章），以迄他到达罗马（28章），作者记载所遭遇的事和审判过程都非常详细，可见本书著者路加自始至终陪伴保罗左右。

27：9 禁食的节期指犹太人的赎罪日，在犹太历第七个月的第十日举行（利23：27），约在阳历九、十月间。犹太人认为地中海航行比较安全的时间是在九月中以前。十一月中以后，海上风浪太大，必须停航。保罗在地中海有多次旅行的经验，因此建议不要继续航行。

27：14 “友拉革罗”是一股从东北吹来势如飓风的大风，原文Eurokulon，有“东风巨浪”之意。此风自革哩底岛（今克里特）吹来，在保罗乘船之南。用大帆靠风力航行的船若遇此风不是翻侧，便是搁浅（27节）。

27：16 古时航行地中海的大船都拖有小船随行，在大风中小船或有撞破大船或被大船撞破的危险，所以把小船拉上大船，绑在船边（17节）。

高大小岛在革哩底岛南约40公里。

27：24 不是站在罗马皇帝尼禄面前由他亲自审讯，而是交由他的法庭审讯。

27：27 亚底亚海除指今之亚得里亚海（Adriatic Sea）外，还包括当时西西里岛东介乎希腊、意大利和非洲之间的地中海。

27：35 保罗内心平安，一方面因他为基督置生死于度外，一方面因他得着主的应许，有信心必然获救（27：24）。他自己吃饭，也劝众人为了身体的健康吃饭。他在饭前照信徒的生活方式祝谢。众人都因他的信心，放心吃饭。

27：37 船上有276人，这个数目对运粮船来说不算大。有的去罗马的船只载的人比这还多。这里提到人数，可能涉及到粮食的配给问题；也可能为上岸作准备。
